I’m a software engineer interested in all aspects/domains of software development and computer science.

I don’t use any AI/LLMs whatsoever. Everything you see on this blog and in my codebases is all-natural bio-slop produced with organic intelligence by yours truly (for better or worse).

Besides my (totally healthy) obsession with 0’s & 1’s, I’m currently also learning Japanese. I’m around JLPT N4, maybe just barely scratching N3. Still horrible at recognizing pitch accent. Also wish I had more time for immersion…

Because I want to make my posts as easy to understand as possible, I’ve opted to use a casual/conversational writing style/tone. Whether I’ll keep using said style is up to my future self ¯\_(ツ)_/¯.

You can expect posts on a wide variety of topics, but I’ll (probably) mainly stick to the following: Rust, Java (+ the JVM), visionOS (+ Swift and Metal), Linux and Japanese.

Current status

I’ve been living in Belgium since 2011 and have finally returned back to Moldova in 2024 in order to try and bootstrap a bunch of startup ideas.
